After breakfast, set off for a once-in-a-lifetime tour of the Orapa Diamond Mine – the only operational mine in Botswana that offers guided tours. See and hear the mining process up close and learn how Botswana’s diamonds support the national economy.

Afterwards, visit the Adrian Gale Museum, where you can admire Botswana’s sparkling diamonds and gain deeper insight into local history.

In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Orapa Game Park, home to black and white rhino, giraffe, wildebeest, impala, warthog and many bird species. Your guide will share outdoor survival tips and explain the local vegetation while you enjoy refreshments in the bush.

After breakfast, depart with your guide in an open 4x4 for a full-day excursion to Lekhubu Island.

Explore this atmospheric granite outcrop surrounded by the shimmering Makgadikgadi salt pans, dotted with ancient baobab trees. Enjoy a packed picnic lunch in this otherworldly landscape before returning to camp in the late afternoon.

Enjoy breakfast at camp before departing by road towards Khumaga, where the team from Leroo La Tau will meet you and transfer you to the lodge overlooking the Boteti River.

Arrive in time to settle into your chalet and, depending on timing, join an afternoon activity such as a game drive or riverfront sundowner.
